Implementing real-time shipment tracking, improved coordination, and automation via a supply chain SaaS solution has transformed the firm for sustainable resilience.

In Thailand’s edible-oils sector, Thanakorn Vegetable Oil Products Co., Ltd. (TVOP) has been expanding its business, facing increasing complexity in managing its supply chain logistics.

The firm’s primary challenges include ensuring reliable transport status information for goods and materials; synchronizing inbound receiving operations; and improving outbound customer satisfaction.

Recognizing the need to modernize and streamline its logistics processes, TVOP aspired to undergo a digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency, supply chain resilience, and customer service.

In May this year, the firm was announced to have adopted a cloud-based transportation management system. This system was designed to optimize and monitor transport logistics processes across all modes of transportation and geographies. Key principles of the solution included:

  • Cloud-based delivery: The solution was delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, ensuring secure data processing and high availability.

As a result, TVOP is achieving enhanced reliability in transport status information, better synchronization of logistics operations, and improved customer satisfaction. The digital solution also contributed to greater supply chain resilience and efficiency.
