Homegrown taxi-hailing platform DASH Taxi hits 19,000 registered drivers, partners with Airport Express for seamless taxi-to-rail airport solution.
DASH Taxi, a homegrown Hong Kong taxi-hailing platform, has announced a new partnership with the Airport Express to enhance the connectivity for airport journeys in Hong Kong.
The collaboration enables users to book a DASH taxi ride together with discounted Airport Express tickets in a single order via the DASH app.
Leveraging the strengths of both parties, seamlessly integrating urban mobility services with the airport rail network, the collaboration further reinforces Hong Kong’s position as a world-class international transportation hub.
Since launching in 2025, DASH Taxi has scaled rapidly across Hong Kong. Registered passengers have more than tripled, while its driver network has more than doubled to over 19,000 drivers. Monthly ride volumes have increased more than fivefold, with street-hailing metered trips’ e-payment transactions seeing strong triple-digit growth.
The platform continues to deliver efficient matching, with an average wait time of approximately 15 seconds.
Enhancing connectivity with Hong Kong’s rail backbone
Hong Kong’s railway system is renowned, with Airport Express serving as the fastest and most convenient route travelling between the city center and the airport.
For many Hong Kongers and travelers, airport journeys still involve coordinating multiple steps, from home or hotel to a rail station and then onward to the airport.
Through the DASH app, users can now book a taxi ride to Hong Kong, Kowloon, or Tsing Yi stations and receive 50% off Airport Express tickets for their entire travelling party. Tickets are delivered directly within the app, allowing passengers to access Airport Express gates seamlessly via QR code.
DASH data shows that 68% of airport-related bookings are for premium or larger vehicles, while 36% of trips take place during evening hours between 6pm and midnight — a period when service convenience and reliability are especially valued.
In addition, 72% of bookings are outbound trips to the airport, underscoring the importance of efficient first-mile connections to Airport Express.
By bringing taxi and rail together in one seamless experience, the partnership complements Hong Kong’s world-class railway network and makes it even easier for passengers to access fast, reliable airport rail services.

Eligible users can enjoy the upgraded “One-Stop Concierge Service” when booking a DASH Taxi together with a discounted Airport Express ticket.
Upon arrival at Hong Kong Station, DASH Concierge Ambassador will assist with luggage and guide passengers to the In-Town Check-in counters or the Airport Express platform, ensuring a more convenient and hassle-free transfer to the airport.
