NRF 2025 APAC to showcase top innovations transforming regional retail

By DigiconAsia Editors | Friday, May 30, 2025, 11:58 AM Asia/Singapore

NRF 2025 APAC to showcase top innovations transforming regional retail

NRF 2025: Retail’s Big Show Asia Pacific will introduce the NRF APAC Innovators Showcase – an exclusive exhibition of the top 30 innovative technology companies transforming APAC retail.

Organized by the National Retail Federation (NRF) in the US and global event organizer Comexposium, the highly anticipated NRF 2025: Retail’s Big Show Asia Pacific (also known as NRF 2025 APAC in short) is just around the corner.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition held in Singapore last year, NRF 2025 APAC is set to double its capacity to welcome more than 10,000 industry delegates this year. Taking place on 3-5 June 2025 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, this year’s edition will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers from across the region, and cutting-edge innovations transforming the retail landscape in APAC.

DigiconAsia finds out more from Ryf Quail, Managing Director for APAC at Comexposium, on what retailers, solution providers and industry stakeholders can expect from this year’s event.

How is APAC’s rapid adoption of digital payments reshaping the future of e-commerce in the region?

Ryf Quail (RQ): With approximately 90% of consumers in APAC using digital payment methods, the APAC region is embracing cashless, borderless transactions. This digital transformation is fuelling the world’s largest e-commerce market, projected to surpass US$2 trillion, and this would significantly influence the global e-commerce landscape.

The seamless integration of digital payments is enabling faster cross-border transactions, making e-commerce more accessible to both consumers and retailers.

What technological innovations will be spotlighted at NRF 2025 APAC to address regional retail challenges?

RQ: APAC is home to more than half of the world’s population, providing a vast and diverse consumer base that drives retail growth. This intense retail growth rate will pose new challenges which retailers must tackle as a region to meet increasing demand.

We are introducing new and exciting features and initiatives this year, including the NRF APAC Innovators Showcase and the NRF CEO Club.

Specially curated by the NRF Innovation Advisory Committee, the NRF APAC Innovators Showcase will present an exclusive exhibition of the top 30 innovative technology companies transforming APAC retail, including:

  • ChatLabs: ChatLabs’ AI-powered solution delivers hyper-personalized, real-time engagement for global brands like Louis Vuitton and Samsung to maximize customer engagement, retention, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Tradeverifyd: Tradeverifyd’s agentic AI-powered supply chain monitoring helps enterprises proactively detect risks, ensure transparency, and build resilient networks.

Limited to only enterprise-level retail CEOs, the NRF CEO Club stands as an invite-only initiative designed to empower some 100 top executives and business leaders, through a suite of bespoke services such as high-level business matching and enabling a dedicated platform for strategic discussions. The club fosters cross-border and cross-sector collaborations for retail leaders to address pressing challenges and uncover new opportunities at a transformative level.

What role does NRF 2025 APAC play in accelerating retail digital transformation in the region?

RQ: By bringing together the brightest minds in tech and retail, the event fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing that directly fuels digital transformation.

From smart retail solutions to sustainability platforms, NRF 2025 APAC provides a launchpad for businesses to futureproof their operations and adapt to the digital-first APAC consumer. Retailers will witness the latest solutions that tackle the most pressing industry challenges and gain access to a platform of in-depth sharing led by retail titans from outside and across the APAC region.

Why hold the event in Singapore?

RQ: As the heart of APAC and a leading regional trade hub, Singapore is the perfect launchpad for retailers to establish their presence and expand into the dynamic and diverse APAC region.

Attending and actively participating at NRF 2025 APAC in Singapore empowers retail leaders and professionals to gain first-hand insights into emerging retail trends, connect with influential decision makers, and access cutting-edge innovations that are shaping the future of APAC retail.

If there’s one key takeaway you’d like delegates to gain from NRF 2025 APAC, what would it be?

RQ: NRF 2025 APAC helps retailers unlock “Retail Unlimited” opportunities in APAC. From how quick commerce was executed in India to globalizing ESG standards, NRF 2025 APAC offers a platform for in-depth sharing. APAC retailers can access insightful use cases that inform, inspire and accelerate their business plans.

Finding the right local partners is the key to successful regional expansion for APAC retailers and brands. NRF 2025 APAC offers unmatched networking opportunities so that retailers can venture their businesses beyond borders with confidence. Unlike other shows, we bring together top decision-makers, industry disruptors, and innovative solution providers under one roof to provide an unmatched platform for knowledge exchange and business growth.
