HONG KONG, Aug. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AIROBO Platform Group (formerly Hony Culture Group, 00419.HK) announced on Aug. 19 that its board of directors has proposed changing the Company’s English name to “AIROBO Platform Group Limited”. The proposed name change signals that the Group’s robotics platform operations have evolved into a core strategic direction and will further reinforce its brand positioning in the capital market.
Name Change Reflects Strategic Business Upgrade
As AI applications continue to expand into robotics platform operations, AIROBO believes that the existing name no longer fully reflects the current state of the Group’s business development. The proposed renaming will establish a more appropriate corporate image and positioning, aligning the listed company’s name with its core business brand.
“This name change is not merely a branding adjustment, but a clear statement of the Group’s future development direction,” said AIROBO. “We are committed to building a unified robotics operations platform that addresses the critical challenges the industry faces when robots enter real-world environments.”
Platform Model Rapidly Expanding
Almost simultaneously with this renaming, AIROBO’s robotics business has been expanding rapidly. Following its cooperation with Longfor Property Services, the Group’s subsidiary, AIROBO (Chengdu) Technology Co., Ltd., has also entered into partnerships with Central China Property Management, Excellence Property Management and Junfa Property Services, respectively, to jointly develop and operate property robotics operation platforms.
AIROBO’s business model is distinctly differentiated from traditional robot manufacturers. Rather than manufacturing a particular type of robot, the Company focuses on solving the challenge of unified operations after robots are deployed in real-world environments. Through a unified operating system and operations platform, AIROBO can connect, dispatch and manage robots of different brands, protocols and functions. The platform further integrates with elevators, access-control systems and property-management business systems, enabling robots to become genuinely embedded into daily operational workflows such as delivery, cleaning, inspection and security.
Scenario Resources Become a Key Advantage
The successive partnerships with property-management companies provide AIROBO’s platform model with critical scenario resources. Communities, office buildings and industrial parks generate large volumes of high-frequency, repetitive and standardised tasks every day, giving them natural conditions for the scaled deployment of robots.
“Over the past few years, the robotics industry has largely addressed the question of ‘whether robots are available’,” noted AIROBO. “The greater challenge in the next stage is ‘where robots can work continuously’. Through our deep collaboration with property enterprises, we are providing robots with sustainable real-world working scenarios.”
When the platform simultaneously connects robot manufacturers with a large number of property projects, AIROBO’s commercial logic evolves further: the Company is no longer simply providing a software system for individual projects, but is gradually becoming the connectivity layer through which robot suppliers gain access to a broad range of real-world application scenarios.
Capital Market Looks Forward to Scale Effects
The inclusion of “Platform” in the proposed new company name reflects AIROBO’s firm commitment to platform-based development. From a capital-market perspective, AIROBO will continue to monitor key metrics: the number of property projects connected, the number of robot brands integrated, the volume of continuously operating robotic tasks, and ultimately whether it can build a robotics operations network spanning regions, brands and application scenarios.
AIROBO believes that if these indicators continue to grow, “AIROBO Platform Group” will represent more than just a rebranding of a listed company; it will signal the emergence of a new role within the robotics industry formally entering the capital-market spotlight.
At present, the proposed name change remains subject to approval at a special general meeting of shareholders and completion of the relevant registration procedures before it can formally take effect. This also heralds the advent of what could become the “first listed robotics operations platform company”.
