Report finds 80% of organizations globally see inadequate or outdated technology holding back innovation. 93% of C-suite in APAC find legacy infrastructure hindering business agility.
NTT DATA recently launched a new Lifecycle Management Report, which reveals that 80% of organizations around the world believe they are being held back by inadequate or outdated technology. Meanwhile, the report also found that a staggering 93% of C-suite executives in APAC believe legacy infrastructure is greatly hindering their business agility.
The report, which leverages 25 years of data-led insights from NTT DATA, explores the challenges and opportunities that exist for organizations as they navigate infrastructure lifecycle management. The research was conducted over 2022 and 2023, gathering data from over 248 million active assets across 130 countries as well as responses from over 1400 senior technology decision-makers.
Other key findings from the report include:
- More than two-thirds (69%) of currently active hardware in APAC will no longer be supported by 2027
- Just 59% of enterprises in APAC have fully aligned their technology approach to their business strategy
- 71% of organizations in APAC say their network assets are mostly ageing or obsolete
